Horrible customer service and shady sales techniques

Was misled and manipulated by salesman Ed. When complained to owner, response was rude and condescending. In reading reviews, I see this is his standard response when anyone complains about a product or service and he accepts no responsibility. Once they have your money no concern whether you are satisfied or not. Please read reviews and determine whether this is how you would like to be treated after spending your money at their business.

Soon as I walked in with my wife we were met with a gentleman named Dave. He threw one liners of sales pitches all the while we were there ,his only focus was on the answer to his invasive pitches to turn wherever the conversation was leading into a sale ,nothing to do with our needs. When we challenged him on his pitches he became offensive,as well he became evasive and lacked accountability for his deficits not accepting that his “space age materials pitch” was burdensom already! The sales pitches were tired and worn I’m sure from their incessant use. Pricing was exceptionally high for a low quality product,we would not trust this place with any warranty,could only imagine the grief duped buyers must go thru just to escape with their dignity. Awful...run and don’t look back!

Bought a couple of mattresses from Best Sleep Centre on St. James. Later that evening I had second thoughts when I compared others. Called them to cancel the order. Salesman told me since I paid on debit, I cannot have the amount returned to my account. It would have to be in the form of a cheque. Came the next day, only to be told that cheques would not be written and signed for three more days. Returned on the morning of the third day, only to be told the cheque is written, but not signed by the manager. He would be in later that day. Came in the afternoon and the manager was still not in. Told he is in various meetings across town. Likely would not get the cheque for another 3 days since the third day is Friday and it would not be available until Monday.

Two different prices

Told us on the phone that a metal queen frame was $70, when where get there it's is $80. Only $70 if we buy another product in the store. Why not tell of the dual pricing on the phone? Switch and bait, up sell, whatever. Sleazy tactics. We did not need any other product. We did spend a lot of time in the store with the salesman (ES) looking at new headboards. We could not find a new on that we liked. As out bedroom is small, we only had 86 inches to deal with. In the end, we wanted a new metal frame, and not a whole new platform bed

Sleep centre, nairn ave,winnipeg, manitoba

we went to the sleep centre store, nairn ave, winnipeg, and paid cash for a queen size mattress set, which was not immediately available but would be delivered in a couple of days. We got home and realized that the mattress set was too big to fit down the stairs to our basement bedroom We asked for our money back, and they told us, they dont give immediate refunds on Interact cards, and after calling their own head office, they proceeded to tell us we would have to wait 3 weeks for a cheque for our refund. Not only were we without any product, but without our $900.00 as well. Unless they have changed their policy recently, this situation is what you will deal with if you purchase from them, and need a refund.

You dont give any cash refunds at the store, when you could have refunded monies through interact, therefore you wouldnt need CASH in your store. You dont show any professional business attitudes by blaming us the customer because we didnt measure...but thats about true to course so far with Best Sleep Centre

well I hate to break your bubble but the cheque did not arrive within 5 days or a week, and it was over $900 of my money sitting in your bank account...it was bad accounting alright on my part to have ever gone into your store...never again..and I will spread the word about you and your store and no refunds and I intend to post it to Facebook

We don't give refunds in cash. It bad accounting and there are safety issues with having large amounts of cash around So it takes 5 days or so to get out a cheque not three weeks. Please measure before you shop and all your problems would be solved.
